May 2025 Newsletter
We hope you had a life-giving Easter. It was a remarkable month at Amor y Esperanza as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and our 25th anniversary! You can view the pictures below to see those celebrations in action.
God has radically blessed AyE over these past 25 years, but we’re confident He’s not done. We believe He has unimaginably more in store for our community, country, and the world. He has used your generosity to bring us this far, and we’re hopeful He will continue to use your gifts to grow His Kingdom.
One of the best ways you can come alongside AyE right now is to become a monthly donor.
IT'S (ALMOST) MISSION TEAM SEASON!
School is almost out in Ecuador, which means more and more partners are preparing to visit AyE and contribute to the amazing work in person.
The next community to visit Amor y Esperanza is Whitefield Academy. On May 30-June 8, these Atlanta high school students will teach three different classes for the Pre-K to 8th grade students at AyE: Bible, Art, and Science (including the school’s Science Fair).
Whitefield Academy will also repaint the school’s walls and pour cement in areas where rain and erosion have caused damage to the school and surrounding community.
We can’t wait to see what God does when two communities — from Atlanta to Quito — come together to serve and love each other!

A MIRACULOUS STORY
Grace works at AyE and has two daughters who attend the school. A year and a half ago, she wad diagnosed with cancer and found it difficult to move forward. For Grace, AyE became a community of hope and prayer, saying, “Amor y Esperanza is my safe place and refuge.”
Thanks be to God, Grace recently learned she is healed from cancer! Watch this 1-minute video of her sharing her story.
2 MOMENTS IN MAY
Amor y Esperanza is always using creativity to reach kids and their families with the love of Jesus. Here are two events you can be praying for this month:
Mother’s Day: AyE is leading a program that focuses on healing the hearts of women and affirming their identity as daughters of God. Each mom and grandmother of students at AyE will be invited to receive a crown and an encouraging word from Pancho and Pity.
Pentecost: The school will honor and celebrate Pentecost by praying for the Holy Spirit to equip everybody for their kingdom callings.
HOW CAN YOU PARTNER WITH AMOR Y ESPERANZA?
