Seeing the Need in Ecuador

  • Safe, high quality educational environments are not easily accessible

  • Many students are forced to drop out of school and find work to support their families

  • High poverty rate of about 25%

  • Many people practice spiritual rituals, but few have personal relationships with Jesus

Yesterday the Whitefield Ecuador Mission Team came together for the school's annual Great Day of Service to work together in the city at SafeHouse Outreach. A beautiful mural was restored, many people on the streets were reached through walking evangelism and invited back for a cookout. Pancho, Pitty and Maria Victoria were in their element, sharing the gospel and the love of God with those who need it most. It was a tough morning, but what an exceptional way to put others ahead of self and live out the gospel message. #whitefieldgreatday
